Reclaiming Documentation
Join us for a full-day professional learning experience designed for educators who want to strengthen their confidence, capability, and joy in pedagogical documentation. This day offers a chance to slow down, lean into curiosity, and rediscover documentation as a way of seeing, listening, and being with children.
Throughout the day, we will explore
● the constellation of characteristics that shape pedagogical documentation
● approaches to designing documentation
● the role and practice of mini stories
● the possibilities of living documentation
● and how these elements sit meaningfully within the planning cycle.
We will learn through examples of documentation, bringing theory into practice as we deconstruct, discuss, and experiment with alternate possibilities. You will be invited into stories, images, and shared reflection as we explore documentation that makes children’s thinking visible while also strengthening the intentionality of our approaches.
