EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM INDUCTION

This is where all good pedagogical understanding starts with new employee’s – bridging a conversation that elevates the identified core conversations within the KGlearning Approach® - respectful relationships, responsive routines and the learning environment.

A comprehensive induction process plays a critical role in creating and maintaining a positive and professional pedagogical culture – one that upholds the philosophy and intentions of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. It sets the tone and foundation for collaborative working relationships that are committed to shared pedagogy. It is also important that an induction goes beyond the first day and occurs over time – and as such we choose not to subscribe to the ‘sink or swim’ narrative that so often occurs for many educators.The KGlearning Approach® provides a comprehensive pedagogical induction for all new employees. This is delivered by the Educational Leader role and/or in partnership with this online series.
